As noted earlier, the Bosch Tassimo model’s inability to produce as good a crema layer as the Braun is rather annoying but seeing as how the taste is not affected, it’s an acceptable loss.

Interestingly enough, the Jacobs Latte Macchiato T-Discs do not appear to suffer from this problem since the froth is at least half an inch thick and remains that way for several minutes after the drink is brewed… much longer than the froth on any other lattes, cappuccinos or espressos we’ve brewed using the Bosch model.

We know some of you may not consider powdered mix pouches to be something fitting of the single-serve coffee market, but as was proven in the past by Keurig with Ghirardelli pouches, the fact that you can get pre-measured cups of hot water instantly from any of their machines allowed them to sell such items amongst their usual K-Cup varieties.

The reason any single serve coffee drinker would want to get an Aeroccino is the need for frothed milk for those latte and capuccino drinks you might want to make at home to save a few dollars.

I haven’t had the chance to try the Green Mountain Coffee or Gloria Jean’s versions of pumpkin K-Cups, so I can’t really compare if they have stronger or weaker pumpkin flavoring and even though I knew to expect the spices, I was still hoping there would be more of a pumpkin flavor (you can read our earlier Single Serve Coffee review on a variety of these K Cups here ).

Overall Rating: 90 – Exceptional Van Houtte is truly a major player in the Canadian coffee scene since they have massive displays in almost every grocery store, they’ve installed their own customized single cup vending machines in many businesses and are now supplying & distributing commercial Keurig machines to various offices along with their entire K-Cup line-up.

The Single Serve Coffee Forums have been abuzz with activity over the past year with tales of the Podster, and how it allows you to use coffee pods in your Keurig Elite B40 Brewer , Keurig B50 , Keurig Special Edition Ultra Elite B60 , Keurig B70 Brewer , Breville BKC600XL Gourmet Single Cup Brewer , and other Keurig K Cup brewers that use the My K- Cup reusable filter.
